Infants and Toddlers (0-3 years old)
The first three years of a child’s life are important for learning and development. As children in this age range grow, they should develop skills such as smiling, communicating, turning over, crawling, eating solid foods, crawling, or standing. Research has shown that these skills usually develop at certain ages on a schedule outlined by developmental milestones.
When a child’s development does not align with developmental milestones, parents and caregivers may become concerned about possible developmental delays.
